Priest Alexander Meshkov, rector of the church of Archangel Michael of Feodosia, and Sergey Ivenko, a representative of the Black Sea Cossack Army, visited the military hospital on July 18. The purpose of the visit is to provide spiritual and moral support to the soldiers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation after completing combat missions.
Father Alexander conducted individual interviews with the wounded, sprinkled them with holy water and presented them with icons and crosses. He reminded me: "Faith and prayer provide inexhaustible strength to overcome any trials, and the Lord is always with those who protect their native land."
