In the village of Kapsayon (deanery of Vihiga) in Kenya, a temple is being built in honor of St. Cyprian of Carthage.
The community was expelled from its church after it joined the fold of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The parish has developed a youth ministry and operates a Sunday school. There are 130 parishioners in the community.
On February 25, 2024, in the Week of the Publican and the Pharisee, at the end of the Liturgy, the rite of consecration of the place for the construction of the temple was performed.
The walls have already been erected and the workers have started building the roof.
We will help you raise funds for the construction of a church in honor of St. Cyprian!
