We often hear that now is such an anxious time that no one cares about anything anymore. A neighbor in the yard is standing near the car, spinning, opening the hood, looking at what's wrong under the hood. I see that the man is not himself. Something happened, I ask. It turns out that the neighbor forgot to turn off the headlights yesterday, and his car is old, the battery is dead, now it can't start. I ask, so why are you hesitating, I would immediately say, there are so many men, someone will help. He sighs heavily: "Who will help now… Everyone has a lot of problems without me...". That's how it always happens, we need help, but we are afraid to ask or have forgotten how. And it seems that kindness has gone out of life, only the market and the sale of services, you to me – I to you. It seems that we are already used to this cocoon, which we have created for ourselves.

But one day everything happens differently.

The incredible is being hotly discussed in the networks right now. A parishioner of one of the churches near Moscow paid for a homeless prosthesis for half a million rubles. This homeless man has only seen such money in a dream. On the one hand, a person's story is banal for our reality, but on the other hand, it's still not easy. I don't want to get used to this.

This homeless man lost his leg as a teenager during an accident. In the nineties, he had a hard time, it was difficult to find a job, then, as he himself says, "he fell into slavery to the Gypsies." He struggled, but still managed to escape to Moscow. But no one was waiting for him in Zlatoglavaya either.

Recently, a 56-year-old man has been living on alms, which is served at the temple in Dmitrov. It was here that a homeless man was noticed by one of the parishioners named Alexander. He found a shelter for Valentine, and then gave 530 thousand roubles for a prosthesis. The charity funds could not help Valentin, because the man did not even have a passport. Now Valentin is learning to walk and wants to go home to the Kuril Islands.

Of course, the Internet has already begun to discuss that not everything is so simple, that there is certainly some benefit in this story. But let's believe that not everything in life works on the principle of "you to me – I to you", there is also just helping each other. Selfless generous help. And kindness, which many have begun to forget.
