On July 15, a traditional holiday was held in the village of Lukovnikovo, Tver region, dedicated to the day of honoring the icon of the Mother of God "Akhtyrskaya".
Once upon a time, there was a side chapel in the church of the Nativity of Christ in the village of Lukovnikovo, consecrated in honor of the Akhtyr Icon of the Mother of God, and in the nearby village of Ileikino, a holy spring has been known since the middle of the XVIII century, consecrated in honor of the same image of the Blessed Virgin. According to legend, the spring was consecrated by the monks of the Joseph-Volotsky monastery.
On July 15, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the church in honor of the Nativity of Christ, followed by a procession to the spring.
In recent years, a tradition has begun to take shape: after the procession is completed, a round dance is held in a clearing near the spring, during which local residents perform Russian folk songs and lead round dances.

The calling of the future Primate to episcopal ministry was formally established by a resolution of the Holy Synod in early March 1976; on the eve of the consecration, the rite of nomination took place, and on March 14—on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy—at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Archimandrite Kirill (Gundyaev), rector of the Leningrad theological schools, was consecrated Bishop of Vyborg.
