On July 16, 2026, the prayer procession of the Tsar's Days-2026 took place in the Ural capital. Afternoon small procession along the Yekaterinburg Way of Sorrow – places that preserve the memory of the Royal Passion-Bearers. The prayer procession was led by Archpriest Maxim Minyailo, Chairman of the diocesan Department for Church Relations with Society and the Media, senior priest of the Memorial Church on Blood; Priest Vasily Ravlik, head of the diocesan Department for Religious Education and Catechesis, cleric of the Bolshoy Zlatoust Church in Yekaterinburg.; The rector of the parish in the name of St. Innocent, Metropolitan of the Moscow city of Yekaterinburg, Priest Ilya Alexandrov and other priests of the Yekaterinburg Archdiocese are confessors of parish schools.
The crusading pilgrims, who arrived from various parts of the country, residents of the city, including pupils of Sunday schools of the Yekaterinburg diocese, volunteers of the Tsarist Days, marched from Shartash station to the Church on the Blood.
The prayer procession began from the Memorial Cross and the foundation stone, which were installed near the Shartash station, in 1918 — Yekaterinburg II. The participants conciliatingly read the akathist to the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers, after which they set off in a procession along the route of arrival of the holy Royal Passion-Bearers to the Memorial Church on Blood, with stops for prayer at the church of the Icon of the Mother of God."Port Arthur" and the church of the Sovereign Icon of the Virgin.
The small procession ended with prayer singing in the Memorial Church on the Blood, erected on the site of the martyrdom of the holy Royal family and their faithful subjects.
Traditionally, on July 16 and 17, Yekaterinburg hosts the main events of the Royal Days dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the memory of the holy Royal Passion-bearers.
