The publication contains a detailed monthly calendar, an index of readings from the Holy Scriptures for each day, and expanded statutory notes. The Liturgical Calendar for 2027 includes a service to St. Tikhon, Patriarch of All Russia, confessor.
The volume of the book is 208 pages, the paperback has a look similar to the design of the Liturgical instructions.
On the front page of the cover is the Kazan Cathedral in St. Petersburg (dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Alexander I, during whose reign this temple was built and consecrated).
The liturgical month is a useful aid for the clergy in the altar.
