On June 27, 2026, the republican seminar-meeting of teachers and Sunday school leaders was held at the Ark Spiritual and educational center of the Elisavetinsky Monastery in Minsk.
The meeting was led by Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus. Hieromonk Trifon (Umalatov), Head of the Events and Competitions Section of the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis, became the guest of honor at the event. The event was attended by about 300 representatives of all dioceses of the Belarusian Exarchate: teachers, heads of diocesan departments of religious education and catechesis, clergy, catechists and volunteers.
The event was opened by the performance of the Oldest inclusive choir "Joy of the Soul".
Hieromonk Trifon (Umalatov) greeted the audience, reading out the welcoming speech of Metropolitan Evgeny of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, Chairman of the Synodal department. 
Priest Stefan Voropai presented to the audience the primary results of monitoring the parish education system in the Belarusian Exarchate, familiarized with the data obtained, the main trends, problems and prospects.
Metropolitan Veniamin thanked the teachers for their hard work and noted that an important criterion for the effectiveness of Sunday school work is the desire of graduates to enroll in theological schools and serve the Church. Despite the challenges of our time, Sunday school remains relevant, but requires continuous creative transformation and the search for new approaches to parenting. The temple space cannot but include the parents of the pupils. Today, an important focus in both church and public life is the preservation of family traditions and the support of the institution of the family as a whole.
The seminar continued with thematic sections: "Current trends in parish education"; "Orthodox media and the participation of Sunday religious school students in information coverage of parish activities"; "Organization of pilgrimage activities within the framework of Sunday religious schools."
