With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Bryansk and Sevsk, the head of the Department for cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Bryansk region, the rector of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Burning Bush", Priest John Vykhovanets, and the rector of the church in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in Alyoshinka village, Priest Sergiy Tsybin, once again made a trip to the border region.
Early in the morning on September 14, accompanied by a mobile firing group, the priests visited the positions of two platoons, where they handed over humanitarian supplies to the military personnel: camouflage nets and necessary materials for fortifications, dairy products from Navlinsky dairy, grapes, sweets, as well as homemade treats prepared by the hands of parishioners of the Vladimir Church.
During the visit, prayer services were held, and many soldiers began the sacraments of Confession and Communion. "The attitude of the fighters towards faith is amazing. The commander of one of the units is a Muslim, but he always greets us warmly, repeating that both Muslims and Orthodox Christians should be true believers," the priests share. "Even those guys who haven't been baptized yet know the "Our Father" prayer by heart and try to pray."

On the way back, having noticed the drone, the priests had to leave the car in a hurry and hide in the forest.  But, by the grace of God, everything turned out fine. Having returned home safely, the priests have already begun preparations for their next trip.
