""On September 12, 2026, in Apatity, Murmansk region, the opening and consecration of the mural dedicated to the Kola Trinity — St. Trifon of Pechenga, Theodoret of Kola and Varlaam of Keret — holy ascetics who shone in the Russian North and became the spiritual patrons of the Kola land - took place.
The image was placed on the wall of house No. 3 on Zhemchuzhnaya Street in the area of the temple of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God.
The consecration was performed by Metropolitan Mitrofan of Murmansk and Monchegorsk.
Boris Korchevnikov, CEO of the "Spas" TV channel, Andrei Malakhov, Mayor Nikolai Bova, Chairman of the Council of Deputies of Apatity Svetlana Katelnikova, clergy of the Murmansk diocese, citizens and guests of the city took part in the historic event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Apatites.
The authors of the project are Moscow muralists Sofia Ivonina and Vasily Fortov. The artist Artur Shuvalov worked with them on the painting.
""The mural" has become a new stage of the federal project of the "Spas" TV channel, which is being implemented with the blessing of His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, with the participation of PhosAgro PJSC.
