At the request of one of the military brigades performing tasks in the Kherson area, the transfer of a batch of camouflage nets was organized.
The volunteers of the organization "Do Good" from different workshops made and assembled 100 camouflage nets of various sizes in just one day. The team of the Special Humanitarian Center of the Crimean Archdiocese delivered humanitarian supplies to the unit.
The command and staff of the brigade expressed their sincere gratitude to all the volunteers of the organization "Do Good" for their concern, selfless work and prompt assistance.

The calling of the future Primate to episcopal ministry was formally established by a resolution of the Holy Synod in early March 1976; on the eve of the consecration, the rite of nomination took place, and on March 14—on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy—at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Archimandrite Kirill (Gundyaev), rector of the Leningrad theological schools, was consecrated Bishop of Vyborg.

Exactly 50 years ago, on March 13, 1976, at the Church of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian at the Leningrad Theological Academy, the rite of nomination took place; and on the following day, March 14, the First Sunday of Great Lent, the Feast of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, during the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra in Leningrad, the episcopal consecration of Archimandrite Kirill — the future Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ — was performed. The service was presided over by the ever-memorable Metropolitan Nikodim (Rotov), whom His Holiness Patriarch Kirill calls his spiritual mentor and teacher.
