The XI Orthodox Literary and musical festival "Souls of the Transfiguration of the Lyre" was held in the village of Bernovo, Staritsky Municipal District.
The event was attended by more than 150 people from different parts of Russia: St. Petersburg, Moscow, Udomli, Staritsy, Ostashkov, Tver, as well as from the villages of Bernovo, Lukovnikovo, Vysokoe and the village of Kravotyn. The founders of the festival are the parish of the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God in the village of Bernovo, the A.S. Pushkin Museum (in Bernovo), a branch of the Tver State United Museum, and the Administration of the Staritsky Municipal District.
The festival was held in two stages. At the first, in absentia, the jury determined the best participants who were invited to the gala concert. Following its results, a solemn awarding ceremony was held. In addition, special awards were presented by the head of the Staritsky district, the head of the A.S. Pushkin Museum and the rector of the church in honor of the Assumption of the Mother of God in the village of Bernovo, Staritsky district, as well as the prize of the A.Nikulin Foundation "Pure Waters".
