From July 23 to July 26, the III diocesan youth tent meeting of the Podolsk Diocese was held on the territory of the Assumption Church in the village of Uspenskoye, Domodedovo. The forum brought together Orthodox youth from all the deaneries of the Podolsk diocese, as well as young families with children.
The program of the meeting harmoniously combined spiritual enlightenment, practical skills and active recreation. Over the course of four days, participants attended lectures on first aid, participated in creative painting workshops and competed in a volleyball tournament, as well as completed the "Path of the Pioneers" quest aimed at team building and testing travel skills.
Special attention was paid to spiritual communication. Archbishop Axius of Podolsk and Lyubertsy became the guest of honor at the meeting. His Eminence held an open meeting with young people on a topical topic: "Spiritual burnout and crisis of faith. How to stay in the Church when the neophyte fervor is fading." In the format of a live dialogue, the students were able to get answers to their questions about spiritual life.
In addition to the educational blocks, the participants were engaged in creative activities: they shot presentation videos about their teams, played board games, and in the evenings gathered around a campfire to sing guitar songs and watch movies in the open air.
On Sunday, the final day of the gathering, the boys and girls took part in the Divine Liturgy and partook of the Holy Mysteries of Christ. After the festive meal, the organizers and participants summed up the meeting, after which the children left for their deaneries, taking with them the joy of Christian unity.
