On August 1, 2026, on the feast of the finding of the relics of St. Seraphim, Wonderworker of Sarov (1903), His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia visited the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevsky Convent.
In 2026, the Diveevskaya Monastery celebrates several anniversaries: the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Mill Community, the 35th anniversary of the second finding of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov, and the 35th anniversary of the resumption of monastic life.
His Holiness proceeded to the Transfiguration Cathedral of the monastery, where he worshiped the venerable relics of St. Seraphim, which, according to established tradition, were brought from the Trinity Cathedral and placed behind the altar before the beginning of the divine service.
Then the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church led the open-air Divine Liturgy service on the square in front of the Transfiguration Cathedral.
According to the Nizhny Novgorod Region Police Department, about 7.5 thousand believers gathered for the Patriarchal Divine service on Monastyrskaya Square in front of the Transfiguration Cathedral. 
The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Serafimo-Diveevsky Monastery, the senior regent was nun Elena (Tsarakhova). A number of hymns were performed by the choir of the Center for the Training of Church Specialists of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese "Pokrov" named after Metropolitan Nikolai (Kutepov) under the direction of Ekaterina Savushina.
For the convenience of the numerous participants of the festive service, the broadcast was displayed on large screens installed on the territory of the monastery.
Special petitions were offered at the special litany. After a special litany, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill offered a prayer for Holy Russia.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill glorified St. Seraphim of Sarov and said a prayer at the relics of the saint.
After the Liturgy, Metropolitan George of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas greeted the Primate of the Russian Church and presented His Holiness with an image of St. Seraphim of Sarov with a fragment of his relics.
On behalf of the nuns and pilgrims of the Serafimo-Diveevsky Monastery, His Holiness was also greeted by Abbess Sergiya (Konkova). The abbess of the monastery presented His Holiness with an icon depicting the Savior, the Mother of God and John the Baptist, modeled after the icon from the cell of St. Seraphim of Sarov, as well as a liturgical prosphora and rosary.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill delivered a sermon.
As a gift to the monastery, the Primate gave an icon of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. His Holiness presented Metropolitan George of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas with a cross and a panagia, and a cross to Abbess Sergia (Konkova). His Holiness the Patriarch gave the Gospels to the inhabitants of the Diveevo monastery.
The participants of the service were presented with icons of St. Seraphim of Sarov with the Patriarchal blessing.

In 2026, the Diveevskaya Monastery celebrates anniversaries: the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Mill Community, the 35th anniversary of the second finding of the holy relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov and the 35th anniversary of the resumption of monastic life.
On December 22, 1826, the foundation stone of the mill was laid at the place indicated to St. Seraphim by the Queen of Heaven. "On the day of the conception of the righteous Anna, I also want to conceive a monastery!" the elder solemnly announced that day. The new community became known as the Mill. Not yet having a cell, the sisters lived in the mill itself until late autumn and were engaged in work. At the end of October, a cell was built, and everyone could fit in it. After a while, Father Seraphim bought a granary for them and blessed them to build other cells for the newly arriving sisters.
On August 1, 1903, on the birthday of St. Seraphim of Sarov, in the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevsky Monastery, in the presence of the imperial family, the relics of the saint were opened for public veneration. After the loss in Soviet times, the second finding of the relics took place on January 15, 1991. In the fall of 1990, unknown remains were found in the storerooms of the Leningrad Museum of the History of Religion, which, after a church examination, were recognized as the relics of the monk. In January 1991, they were moved from the Alexander Nevsky Lavra to Moscow, to the Epiphany Cathedral. On August 1 of the same year, exactly 35 years ago, the relics were brought in a procession to the Diveevsky monastery.
Also 35 years ago, the Serafimo-Diveevskaya monastery was reopened and monastic life resumed there. Metropolitan Nikolai (Kutepov) of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas solemnly ordained Nun Sergiya (Konkova), who had previously served as the dean of the Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Pustyn Monastery in Riga, to the rank of abbess of the Serafimo-Diveevsky Monastery.
