Archpriest Boris Kravets, dean of the Northern Church District of the Crimean Metropolis, who is responsible for hospital service, visited one of the medical institutions in Simferopol.
Father Boris, together with the priest in charge of the hospital, Priest Aleksanr Chikunov, performed a prayer service in front of the ark with the relics of the saints of God. Then the priests, together with the sisters of mercy, toured the wards and talked with the wounded. Everyone was given the opportunity to venerate the shrine. Those who wished were anointed with consecrated oil.
The ark was donated by philanthropist Igor Sabetsky for the spiritual support of soldiers undergoing treatment in Crimean hospitals and hospitals. It contains fragments of the relics of St. Andrew the First-Called, the Great Martyr-Healer Panteleimon, the Holy Martyr Clement of Rome and other venerated saints.
