On July 12, 2026, the Dyukcha Ethnopark hosted the Dobry Fest summer volunteer festival, which brought together volunteers, representatives of public organizations and residents of Kolyma. The event was attended by the Department for Church Charity and Social Service of the Magadan Diocese.
The staff and volunteers of the diocesan social department organized an educational platform at the festival dedicated to the value of human life from the moment of conception. Visitors could get acquainted with information materials, booklets and thematic magazines that reveal the wonders of intrauterine development of a child, as well as the importance of preserving motherhood and responsible fatherhood.
The central place in the exhibition was occupied by visual models and silicone models of embryos at different stages of development. These manuals, which clearly demonstrate the stages of the formation of a new life, aroused genuine interest among both adults and children. Everyone could not only view the exhibits, but also take pictures with them.
Special attention was paid to the younger generation at the site. The organizers have provided two creative zones for the young participants of the festival. Nadezhda, a volunteer of the department, conducted a master class for children on modeling figures from balloons, creating funny animals for the children. Also, everyone could take part in a master class on making a traditional swaddling doll, a symbol of maternal care and the fragility of infant life, which had to be carefully swaddled and tied with a ribbon.
According to Alexander Biryukov, Chairman of the social department, such educational events are an important part of the diocese's social ministry aimed at establishing traditional moral guidelines in society and protecting life as a gift from God.
