Archpriest Dimitri Polushin, Assistant to the Commander of the Siberian District of the Russian Guard for Work with Believers, performed prayer services and church sacraments for military personnel and staff performing tasks in the Luhansk People's Republic, and also addressed the personnel with words of pastoral guidance.
In addition, the archpriest met with the rector of the Alexander Nevsky Church in one of the settlements, learned about the 200–year history of the monastery and its significance for local residents, and finally donated an icon of St. George the Victorious.
