His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, expressed his deep sympathy over the tragic events in Rylsk, where people were killed and injured as a result of a rocket attack, as well as churches were damaged. This is reported on the website Patriarchia.ru .
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill expressed the opinion that the actions of the Kiev regime directed against the Kursk region and its inhabitants indicate its hostility and desire for destruction and murder.
"I hope that the families and friends of those who suffered this misfortune will receive all the necessary help. With my blessing, the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service will provide support to those in need," Patriarch Kirill said. He also assured that he prays for the speedy healing of the injured, the consolation of the grieving and the repose of the souls of the dead.
