The Town Museum of Pereslavl is
hosting a history and art exhibition exploring
the treasures of the ancient Pereslavl Cathedral, reports the museum Web site.
One of its objectives is open up to the visitors the life, views and works of artists and craftsmen involved in the restoration of the Russian Christian art. Here one can see modern church embroidery, made from ancient samples, mosaic and ceramic works of art, provided by Moscow and St. Petersburg artists. Also during the exhibition concerts of ancient music will be given by famous musicians.
The organizers hope that visitors of the exhibition, participants of master classes and lectures will get to know the exhibits more deeply and come up with new creative ideas and discoveries.
