August 5 is the memorial day of the righteous warrior Feodor Ushakov. 24 years ago, the canonization of the famous admiral took place, which was led by the future Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, and at that time Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad. 
This year, on the morning of August 5, a shrine with the relics of the righteous warrior was delivered to the Feodorovsky Cathedral from the Sanaksar Monastery of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. Metropolitan Zinovy of Saransk and Mordovia met the shrine.
