On August 25, 2026, with the blessing of Metropolitan Varsonofy of St. Petersburg and Ladoga, a scientific and practical conference "The Word is stronger than a Miracle" was held in the conference hall at the Kazan Cathedral of St. Petersburg, dedicated to the legacy of St. John of Kronstadt, his companions and disciples.
The conference brought together academic speakers: both domestic professors and associate professors of theological and secular universities from St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Tomsk, clergymen from Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as foreign admirers of the memory of the great Saint of Kronstadt from Serbia, Croatia and Belarus. Many of the listeners were not only from St. Petersburg, but also specially arrived from Tikhvin and Moscow.
The reports were devoted to the legacy of both the All—Russian pastor himself and his spiritual children and followers. Seraphim (Chichagov), the Philosopher Ornatsky and Nikolai Simo, St. Seraphim (Sobolev), Metropolitan Gury (Egorov), Archpriest John Ornatsky, Archpriest Pontius Rupyshev and other ascetics of piety. 
The conference was greatly supported by the Chairman of the Parish Council of St. Peter's Church. The Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian (Leusha monastery in St. Petersburg) nun Euphrosyne (Olyushina). In addition to providing organizational assistance to the project, two informative reports were presented from this parish: schema—nun Rafaila (Ivanova), on monastic—type communities created by Metropolitan Guriy (Egorov) and Archpriest Pontius Rupyshev, and E. V. Larikova, on the feat of Archpriest John Ornatsky.
In the final part of the conference, speeches were made by St. Petersburg residents, representatives of the art block: church art critic O.V. Gubareva, icon painter, associate professor of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy D.G. Mironenko, and Academician of Architecture M.A. Mamoshin, who spoke about plans for the rebirth of St. Andrew's Cathedral in Kronstadt.
The forum participants thanked the Chairman of the Kazan Cathedral Parish Council, Archpriest Alexander Pashkov, and his assistants, who provided all possible assistance to the conference.
