On August 29, 2024, the presentation of the works of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow of All Russia took place at the Joy of the Word exhibition-forum, held in the Kostroma Diocese.
In the assembly hall of the Kostroma Theological Seminary, curator of educational projects of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church, Priest Andrey Stepanov, presented new books by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, published by the Publishing House of the Moscow Patriarchate.
The presentation featured editions of the latest volumes from the collection of works of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as the book "Choose Life so that you and your descendants may live. About the challenges of time and the right choice", "Happiness the size of a lifetime", "Let's start with the simplest: The keys to happiness", "So as not to perish either in this world or in the future: About repentance and saving forgiveness", "Why did you leave the world? The Primate on the purpose of monastic life" from the new series "Monastic Library".
During the event, the Chairman of the Publishing Council, Metropolitan Clement of Kaluga and Borovsk, shared his experience of working with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill and noted that the Patriarch has a special gift of speech and is able to separate global church-wide tasks from everyday topics of a person's private life, analyzing each individual issue in detail. The Primate's books are addressed to both the church and the secular audience of readers.
Metropolitan Ferapont of Kostroma and Nerekhta, in turn, added that His Holiness the Patriarch is a very interesting interlocutor, delves into all the details of the conversation in detail.
The Head of the Publishing Council presented Metropolitan Ferapont with a set of presented publications provided for transfer to the Kostroma Diocese by the Publishing House of the Moscow Patriarchate.
