On May 24, celebrations were held in Vladivostok as part of the Royal Days dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Tsarevich Nikolai Alexandrovich's Oriental journey.

The event was attended by the clergy of the Vladivostok Diocese, representatives of the Vladivostok Maritime Assembly, parishioners of the city's churches and students of the Orthodox Gymnasium.
Metropolitan Pavel of Vladivostok and Primorsky led a prayer service at the Tsarevich's Arch. Vladyka himself addressed the audience with welcoming speeches, as well as the guest of honor, Chairman of the Jubilee Committee, member of the Writers' Union of Russia and the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society A. Y. Khvalin.
The solemn atmosphere was complemented by a concert by the brass band of the Pacific Higher Naval School named after S. O. Makarov conducted by military conductor Major Pavel Alexandrovich Zubkov.
