In the Korean Diocese, the monastery of St. Anthony the Great in Incheon continues its development. On September 11, 2024, the monastery's house chapel saw the installation of royal doors and the renewal of wall paintings, according to the monastery's Telegram channel. The new artwork was applied on paper-based surfaces in both the altar and main space of the chapel.

The Incheon Monastery, dedicated to St. Anthony, was established in early 2024. Archbishop Theophan of Korea, along with Hierodeacon Nektarios, rented a private house where a chapel was built using a small trailer funded by local parishioners. The small brotherhood carried out much of the work themselves, painting walls and making the trailer suitable for worship. The church was formally consecrated in June 2024. Archbishop Theophan emphasized that the monastery would serve not only the monks but also the laity, providing a model for a more devout Christian life.

The Korean Diocese was established in 2018 when the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church created the Exarchate of Southeast Asia. This was due to the significant successes of the Russian Church's mission in the region, with the growing number of parishes, local clergy, and increased interest in Russian Orthodoxy. The diocese includes both North and South Korea. Currently, there are five parishes in the Korean Diocese: one in North Korea and four in the South. The newest community, in the city of Gyeongju, was established in June 2024. Parishioners funded and set up the church themselves and requested regular services from the diocese.

In July 2024, the diocese published a bilingual Orthodox liturgical compendium in Korean and Russian. The translation was carried out by the founders of the monastery: Archbishop Theophan, Hieromonk Pavel (Choi), and Hierodeacon Nektarios (Lima).
