Next to the Church on Blood in Yekaterinburg, the photo exhibition "The Church Helps" dedicated to the social service of the Russian Orthodox Church. Its opening took place within the framework of the XVII Interregional Conference on Church Social Service.
The exhibition is a joint project of the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service, the Kommersant Publishing House and the Orthodox Mercy Service of Yekaterinburg. The heroes of the pictures were the sisters of mercy, church volunteers and the people they help.

The photos show the Maria Women's Support Center, the humanitarian aid center, the Unintentional Joy shelter for mothers, and the ministry of the sisters of St. Panteleimon's Sisterhood in hospitals.
Visitors will also see photographs of church social projects in Moscow, the Moscow region, Leningrad and Nizhny Novgorod regions. Among them are the St. Sophia Social Home, the House of the Deafblind in Puchkovo, St. Alexy's Hospital and the Monastery of Healing rehabilitation center.
Speaking at the opening, Archpriest Mikhail Potokin, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Charity, expressed the hope that the exhibition would help people think about the needs of their neighbors and find an opportunity to participate in charity with their time, strength or means.
The photo exhibition next to the Church on the Blood will be open until the end of January 2027.
