A monument to the heroes of the Special Military Operation has been unveiled in Tchaikovsky

With the blessing of the Head of the Perm Archdiocese, His Eminence Methodius, Metropolitan of Perm and Kungur, the clergy of the Tchaikovsky Deanery of the Perm diocese took part in the ceremonial opening of the monument "Warrior Hero" dedicated to the participants of the special military operation. The event was timed to coincide with the Day of Military Veterans.
The monument dedicated to modern defenders of the Fatherland is installed on the Walk of Fame next to the memorial to internationalist soldiers, participants in combat operations in Afghanistan, Chechnya and other local conflicts, which underlines the inextricable link between Russian heroes of different generations.
Being a symbol of glory, valor and honor, the monument "Warrior Hero" serves as a reminder of the great feat of the Russian soldier and a parting message to future generations.
The author of the sculpture was Ilya Galiulin, a sculptor from Perm.
The ceremony brought together caring residents of the Tchaikovsky district, those who cherish the memory of fellow countrymen who gave their lives for the peaceful sky above their heads.
Top officials of the city, deputies, members of the public and heads of enterprises, veterans who passed through Afghanistan, Chechnya and other hot spots, relatives of the fallen soldiers and those performing combat missions in the special military operation zone, volunteers and yunarmeyts, students and schoolchildren honored the memory of the fallen heroes with a minute of silence, laid flowers at the memorial and expressed deep respect and immeasurable Thanks to everyone who stands up for our country today.
