On May 7, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations, met with Metropolitan Nicholas, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, Metropolitan of Eastern America and New York, at the Monastery of St. Job of Pochaev in Munich (Germany).

The conversation, which took place in a warm fraternal atmosphere, was attended by Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany, Bishop Job of Stuttgart, Vicar of the German Diocese of ROCOR, Archpriest Seraphim Gan, managing director of the ROCOR Synod of Bishops, and Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the DECR.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts.

On the same day, Metropolitan Anthony took part in the international scientific conference "Heritage and Vocation" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the German Diocese of ROCOR.

Archbishop Tikhon of Ruza, the administrator of the Berlin-German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, also participated in the conference.

The event took place in the historic Blutenburg Castle in the vicinity of Munich.
