A pilgrimage trip to the Belogorsky St. Nicholas Monastery for family members of participants in a special military operation (SVO) took place. The trip was organized by the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation with the assistance of the Peter and Paul Cathedral in Perm.
The pilgrims were accompanied by the rector of the cathedral, Priest Sergiy Karmashev.
At the Belogorsky St. Nicholas Missionary Monastery, the participants of the trip had the opportunity to offer prayers for their loved ones. A litiya was celebrated in the Holy Cross Cathedral of the monastery in memory of the fallen participants of the SVO.
A prayer service was also held in front of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, which is especially revered in the Belogorsky Monastery, for the health of the servicemen participating in the SVR and for those who are missing.
The pilgrims got acquainted with the history of the Belogorsky monastery by visiting an excursion conducted by the monks of the monastery.
The participants of the trip were also given the opportunity to climb the choirs and see the temple from an unusual angle.
The trip became a time of joint prayer and spiritual communication.
