The Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa has issued a service book in Malagasy for the clergy of the Diocese of South Africa in the Republic of Madagascar.
The translation and editing were performed by the Dean Priest Nikolai Ramarusun, Priest Makarii Ratudzunantenaina, Priest Vasily Randrianaivu and Priest Alexy Lalatiana under the guidance of the assistant exarch for Religious Education and Catechesis Archpriest Tigri Khachatryan.
The service books were printed in the printing house "VIP Publishing House" in Kursk.
According to Priest Alexy Lalatiana, copies have already been handed over to local priests.
On October 17, 2024, at the parish of St. Nectarius in the city of Makhadzanga, Priest Basil Randrianaivu and Priest Nectarius Andriamanana celebrated the Liturgy in their native language according to the new service book.
