On August 20, 2026, the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Constantine of Cairo and North Africa, officiated at the minor consecration of the church of Equal-to-the-Apostles Constantine and Elena in the village of Tivolvo (Nandi deanery) in Kenya. Prior to this, Vladyka performed the sacrament of the Baptism of four children. His Eminence was co-served by Deacon Neophyte Kipkemboy, a student at Tomsk Theological Seminary.
The bishop addressed the faithful with a word of edification, greeted the dean of the district and the rector of the parish, Priest Titus Kipngheni, and presented the parish with an altar cross. The faithful of the community presented memorable gifts to Metropolitan Konstantin and Priest Georgy Maksimov, chairman of the Missionary Department of the Exarchate.
Then Vladyka consecrated the motorcycles, which, with the support of donors from Russia, were donated to the clergy of the deanery. Also, the clergy, as in other deaneries of Kenya, were presented with cows.
Metropolitan Konstantin then held a general pastoral meeting, which was attended by all the clergy of the deanery. The meeting discussed the activities of the parishes and the further development of church life.
After the meeting, the exarch visited the parish of the Apostle Peter in the village of Ketim.
The next points of visit were the parish of the Apostle James Zebedee in the village of Kisarich and the parish of St. Zosima of Solovetsky in the village of Chemelil. At the parish of St. Zosima, Metropolitan Konstantin consecrated a column for clean water. The drilling and construction of the well was carried out with the assistance of the Foundation for the Support of Christian Culture and Heritage.
In all parishes, Bishop Konstantin delivered the archpastoral address, talked with the rectors and parishioners. The bishop presented altarpieces to the parishes.
