His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia extended traditional Christmas greetings to the Primates of the Local Orthodox Churches. In his messages, he emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and love during challenging times for the world and the Church.

In letters addressed to Patriarch John X of Antioch, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia, Patriarch Daniel of Romania, Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria, Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw, Metropolitan Rastislav of the Czech Lands, Metropolitan Tikhon of America and Canada, and Archbishop Stefan of Ohrid, Patriarch Kirill wrote:

“I warmly greet you and extend my heartfelt congratulations on the radiant feast of the Nativity of Christ. We pray for peace and the overcoming of divisions, that the love of God may strengthen the Church and each of us.”

In response, Patriarch Kirill received Christmas messages from the heads of the Local Orthodox Churches:

Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem highlighted the significance of reconciliation and peace:
“This salvific message resonates particularly today, as nations suffer from conflicts and divisions. We pray that the Church remains a guiding light on the path to unity and brotherly love.”

Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia expressed hope for peace and blessings for all nations:
“May Christ grant reconciliation to the world, and may the light of the Nativity fill the hearts of people.”

Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw reflected on the meaning of the celebration:
“The Nativity of Christ reveals to us God’s great love for humanity. May the light of Christmas strengthen our faith and bring peace to every corner of the world.”

Metropolitan Tikhon of All America and Canada noted:
“Christ is born in the stillness of the night, bringing light and hope to the hearts of believers. This light continues to illuminate our path.”

In their messages, the spiritual leaders expressed gratitude to Patriarch Kirill for his warm congratulations and reaffirmed the importance of joint efforts to promote peace and brotherhood within the Orthodox world.
