With the blessing of Metropolitan Kirill of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Interaction with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, Priest Alexander Palaznik, head of the sector of the Synodal Department for Interaction with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, held a meeting with cadets of the Military Training Center at the Russian State University of Justice (RGUP).

The military-political and spiritual-educational event was attended by officers and mentors of the training center: Reserve Colonel A.N. Rybalkin, Deputy Head of the University of Higher Education, Reserve Colonel M.S. Kravchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of General Military and Legal Training, Reserve Lieutenant Colonel M.S. Kravchenko, and Reserve Lieutenant Colonel A.V. Malakhanov, lecturer of the Department of General Military Training. During the dialogue with the students, Father Alexander touched upon the issues of Christian understanding of the law, the moral responsibility of judges and investigators, as well as the importance of a spiritual core in the life of a future officer.

The spiritual care of representatives of military justice is provided by the Synodal Department on an ongoing basis. For example, a Divine Liturgy was held in the church of the Main Military Prosecutor's Office, during which the officers of the department and their family members prayed together. About 45 people took communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ during the divine service. 

At the end of the service, a pastoral conversation took place over a fraternal tea party, during which the servicemen were able to discuss with the priest issues of spiritual life and pressing tasks of serving the Fatherland. The celebration of such liturgies in the departmental church is organized regularly.

In the care of current and future military lawyers, the Church asserts an immutable principle: the earthly law draws strength from the moral law. Prayer and participation in the Sacraments help a person in uniform to maintain a clear conscience, impartiality and vigilance of the heart, protecting justice from the temptations of callousness and greed.
