At this large-scale international military expo, a wide selection of new and improved weaponry and related paraphernalia, in many cases unique, designed and manufactured in Russia and elsewhere, was presented to specialists and to the general public.

They unveiled new models of mobile field churches based on all-terrain military vehicles. According to the head of the Russian Armed Forces Department for cooperation with religious associations,

"Taking into account the existing demand among servicemen for worship and religious services, design specs for the engineering have been worked out to manufacture a mobile field church based on the UAZ "Patriot" vehicle. Another item is a stationary tent-based field church".

Military chaplains are always with the troops, field facilities for religious worship are equipped everywhere. On submarines and ships, there are standard quarters for such purposes. The Russian Armed Forces currently have more than 300 religious facilities.

"Religious support for servicemen and civilian personnel is provided today by military chaplains in Russia, Ukraine, the Syrian Arab Republic, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and in the peacekeeping forces in Nagorny Karabakh," the Russian military official summed up.
