Culture has been defined, among other things, as the ideas, customs, and social behavior of a particular people or society. Thus, given the prevailing state of absolute globalist wokeness in Germany, it should come as no surprise that new culture minister Claudia Roth has an extensive background in woke, leftist politics, spanning over 20 years. She was woke before it was cool.

After beginning her career in theater and managing a “radical left-wing rock band” that made bizarre concept albums about homosexuality,  she went into parliament, becoming head of the Green party, a party whose very foundation is built upon the precepts of woke “social justice,” unrestricted “reproductive rights,” unchecked immigration and LGBT rights. This was so from the very founding of the party in the 1980s, so one can see it has been effective its work. It also pushes an aggressive environmental policy. Cricket sandwich, anyone?

A polarizing figure, German newspaper Die Welt described her as “a hate figure for all uptight Germans”. We assume that means Germans who want to live a normal life unhindered by restrictive carbon quota laws, gay and feminist propaganda, and the forced consumption of the aforementioned cricket sandwiches.

Having now been handed the reigns to represent and promote the culture of Germany, an ancient state with a vast cultural legacy, one wonders how long it will take her to destroy two thousand years of culture. Considering her stated aim of “decolonizing” museums, and making priority concern for “the alternative scene, the clubs, the record and comic shops,” typically considered low-culture venues, one assumes it will not be long until Germany falls ever further into cultural mediocrity until it resembles ever more the jokes non-Germans often make about it.

Maybe next year Rammstein can be given positions in the German cabinet.
