With the blessing of the Head of the Perm Metropolia, His Eminence Methodius, Metropolitan of Perm and Kungur, on September 7, the XIII Spiritual and Historical Festival named after the Holy Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky was held in the village of Lobanovo. The event is traditionally held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Perm Region, the Perm House of Folk Art "Gubernia" within the framework of the project "59 festivals of 59 region" and the Perm Municipal District.
On the holiday, the village of Lobanovo gathered hundreds of residents of the district.
The event began with the Divine Liturgy dedicated to the 112th anniversary of the Lobanovsky Church. The divine service was performed by the dean of the Lobanovsky church district of the Perm diocese, rector of the Alexander Nevsky Church, Priest Theodore Pashkevich.
At the end of the Liturgy, the April choir performed in the church, the soloists of which performed spiritual works.
At that time, a concert program with the participation of choreographic groups, demonstration fights and a kettlebell lifting tournament, craft workshops: chain mail weaving, coin forging and clay molding were waiting for the festival guests on the temple grounds. The most curious guests participated in quests, studied historical exhibitions and visited the bibliomobile.
Creative groups from all over the Perm Region performed on the main stage one after another: folk choirs, rousing dancers and talented musicians. The spectacle was bright, loud and truly soulful.
Traditionally, at the end of the holiday, all the guests could enjoy fragrant baked potatoes and crispy sandwiches with bacon.
