The Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Ministry allocated 190,000 rubles to support the “Good Kitchen” project of the Church in honor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Raspopinskaya, Volgograd Region.  The project became one of the winners of the second competition of church family projects organized by the Synodal Department, which is aimed at supporting families, motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood.
As part of the project, under the guidance of professional chefs, families with children prepare baked goods in the church after services for needy families in the Cossack village. The baked goods are also sent to the conflict zone.
Using funds allocated by the Synodal Department for Charity, the church purchased ingredients for making baked goods, ordered a kitchen set, and will also acquire the necessary furniture — tables and chairs.
The second competition for church family projects was held by the Synodal Department for Charity from April 16 to May 3, 2026. It received 53 applications from various regions of the country. After the competition commission reviewed them, 24 winners were selected.
