As part of the internship program in Pereslavl Zalessky, on June 25, 2026, the St. Luke's Branch of St. Alexy's Hospital hosted a reception for sisters of mercy from the Crimea — the sisterhood in the name of the image of the Mother of God "Troeruchitsa".
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the organization of the work of the visiting patronage service: the procedure for providing assistance to the seriously ill and those in need at home, accounting and documentation, as well as practical aspects of accompanying wards.
The staff of St. Luke's Branch shared their experience in organizing the service, working methods and features of patronage assistance. The Crimean sisters are considering the possibility of creating a similar ministry in their region.
Such visits take place on a regular basis. The St. Luke's Branch provides advisory support to sisterhoods interested in developing field patronage care.
