In the village of Russian Lashma, Kovylkinsky district of Mordovia, eight bells for the Holy Cross Church were consecrated on Tuesday. They were presented to the temple by a resident of Moscow, an active participant in a special military operation. Sergey specially came for one day "because of the ribbon" to fulfill a noble mission.
The fighter had long wanted to do a godly deed, but could not decide which church to choose. Fate decided it for him. The man was injured and met with Archpriest Roman Mammadov, rector of Holy Cross Church, at the hospital. The priest nursed the wounded. He talked to Sergei and told him about his arrival. Then the fighter decided that he would bring the bells here.
The man ordered the bells at the Andrey Dyachkov factory in the city of Romanov-Borisoglebsk (now Tutaev) Yaroslavl region. They have already been installed on the bell tower. Now, with their ringing, they will support both local residents and their defenders on THEIR own.
