On July 29, 2026, a joint seminar on humanitarian aid between the Belarusian Exarchate and the Belarusian Red Cross was held on the basis of the Frunze Regional Organization of the Belarusian Red Cross.
The event was attended by employees of the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service of the Belarusian Exarchate, headed by the chairman of the department, Priest Roman Artemov, Nina Marinich, head of the Humanitarian Aid department for the Diocese of Slutsk, Maria Shaplyko, Chairman of the Brotherhood of John the Theologian, representatives of the Belarusian Red Cross, headed by the chairman of the Minsk City organization of the republican public association "Belarusian Society Red Cross" by Romaniya Zorina, and also a representative of the Education Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
The meeting began with an introduction to the Frunze regional organization of the Belarusian Red Cross: participants were shown a container for collecting clean clothes and shoes, a children's room, a humanitarian aid room, as well as utility rooms for cleaning and repairing clothes.
During the seminar, the directions in which the cooperation of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Belarusian Red Cross is successfully implemented were considered, as well as new formats of interaction and the upcoming campaign "Get the child ready for School" were discussed.
