Such results of the work last year were shared by the staff of the S.P.A.S.Consulting assistance service. In total, in 2023, the pre-abortion service conducted 379 consultations for women facing reproductive choices. And last year, S.P.A.S. Consultants held 15 actions on the streets of the city of Chelyabinsk and the region. And activists help all families who have made their choice in favor of saving the child's life with food and hygiene products.
The service became the winner of the governor's competition with the project "Healthy way of thinking of the younger generation as a guarantee of a happy family." Lectures were held for 300 university students, and classes on the "Road to Home" program were held for 100 students from SUSGPU, forming a responsible attitude among young people towards starting a family and raising children. The project will continue to be implemented in 2024.

The calling of the future Primate to episcopal ministry was formally established by a resolution of the Holy Synod in early March 1976; on the eve of the consecration, the rite of nomination took place, and on March 14—on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy—at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Archimandrite Kirill (Gundyaev), rector of the Leningrad theological schools, was consecrated Bishop of Vyborg.

Exactly 50 years ago, on March 13, 1976, at the Church of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian at the Leningrad Theological Academy, the rite of nomination took place; and on the following day, March 14, the First Sunday of Great Lent, the Feast of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, during the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra in Leningrad, the episcopal consecration of Archimandrite Kirill — the future Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ — was performed. The service was presided over by the ever-memorable Metropolitan Nikodim (Rotov), whom His Holiness Patriarch Kirill calls his spiritual mentor and teacher.
