Since 2022, the Myrrh-bearing volunteer group at the Sergiev-Kazan Church in the village of Krasnoobsk has been helping military personnel in the SVR zone.

During this time, a community of parishioners and villagers has formed around the group, ready to support this work.

Yulia Lyutina organizes the activities of volunteers. With the support of the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexander Remorov, permanent work has been established in the Parish House. Every day, volunteers weave camouflage nets, sew anti-thermal blankets, make trench candles, knit warm clothes, collect and send parcels to the front and hospitals.

Residents of Krasnoobsk join the "Myrrh-bearers", who help with materials and participate in training camps. Young assistants also make up an important part of this work. Krasnoobsk schoolchildren, together with volunteers, weave camouflage nets, prepare them for shipment, and help collect and load parcels.

"For those who want to help but don't know where to start, come to us,— says Yulia Lutina. — Don't be afraid if you can't: we'll teach you everything. Our doors are always open. Together we can do more. Our guys are really waiting for help from us."
