The Russian Heart International Orthodox Film Festival has opened in Tver

From December 1-8, the Panorama Cinema Concert Hall and the historical park "Russia is My Story" will host the final screenings of films participating in the VII International Orthodox Film Festival "Russian Heart".
The festival will feature feature films and documentaries, including "My Favorite Champion" by Alexander Danilov, "Golden Bronze" by Igor Kopylov, "Nevechnye" by Tatyana Zhukova, as well as films of the children's animation program.
The film "Journey to Prechisty Bor" about the restoration of the destroyed Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in the village of Krasny (Prechisty) will open the festival program The forest of the Kalininsky district of the Tver region. This film is a continuation of a video series about how Tver youth, including the Tver Orthodox youth club "Sower", is fighting to preserve a forgotten rural church.

The Russian Heart Film Festival was established in 2017 and is dedicated to the memorial Day of the Holy Blessed Grand Duke Mikhail Tversky.
Since 2023, by Order of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Orthodox film festival "Russian Heart" has been included in the list of international film festivals held on the territory of the Russian Federation.
