On May 27, 2020, the Magadan Industrial College hosted a meeting of students with fathers with many children, held as part of the All-Russian Family Week.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Youth Affairs Department of the Magadan Diocese, Priest Ilya Yefremov, and the head of the social department of the diocese, Alexander Biryukov. Both speakers are fathers with many children and were able to share with the students their personal experiences of family life and parenting.
During the conversation, the topics of family values, father's responsibility, the importance of mutual support in the family, as well as important components of building a strong, large and happy family were touched upon. Special attention was paid to the fact that fatherhood requires not only care and work, but also inner maturity, love, patience and willingness to be an example for their children.
The students were able to ask their questions and get live answers based on the personal life experiences of the meeting participants. The conversation took place in an open and friendly atmosphere.
The event became an important part of the educational work within the framework of Family Week and was useful for students, allowing them to take a fresh look at the importance of family, fatherhood and responsibility in human life.
