On July 13, 2024, the Feast of the Synaxis of the Glorious and All-Praised Twelve Apostles, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphrius of Kyiv and All Ukraine performed the great consecration of the Church in honor of the Synaxis of the Holy Apostles in Kyiv. This event was reported by the UOC Information and Education Department.

Metropolitan Onuphrius was assisted by Archbishop Jonah of Obukhov, Archbishop Sylvester of Belgorod, Bishop Lavr of Irpin, Bishop Mark of Borodyanka, as well as the clergy of the church and guest priests.

During the service, Metropolitan Onuphrius delivered a sermon to the faithful. Prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine, for assistance to those who lost their homes, and for God's blessing on those who help the needy. After the service, Metropolitan Onuphrius thanked the parishioners for their prayers and congratulated them on the feast. The church community presented him with an icon of the Synaxis of the Holy Bodiless Powers. The archpastor concluded the ceremony by blessing all those present.
