In the Week of the Publican and the Pharisee, on February 1, 2026, the day of the council of the Venerable fathers, the founders of monasticism, and all the saints who shone forth in the land of Egypt, the sacrament of Baptism took place at the parish of St. Benedict of Nursia in the capital of Cameroon, Yaoundé.
On this day, twelve local residents who had been trained in this parish were baptized.
The sacrament was performed by the rector of the parish, Priest Venedikt Ossono.
