An interregional forum on strengthening traditional family and spiritual and moral values "Family is the foundation of peace" will be held in the Astrakhan Region on November 14-15, 2024.

This event is not just timed to coincide with the Year of the Family in Russia, but is strategically important: following the results of the Forum, proposals will be formed on issues of value support for family and demographic policy, as well as recommendations on the effective dissemination of traditional spiritual and moral values among the population of the country, and especially among young people.

The Forum will be attended by deputies of the State Duma, members of the Russian Federation Council, members of the Federation Council, representatives of federal authorities, heads of executive and legislative authorities of the Astrakhan region, as well as popular media personalities.

Special attention will be paid to the topics of preserving the life of a child before birth and helping women who are at the stage of reproductive choice. On this occasion, the film "Mother's Letter" will be shown with the participation of its creators.

Presentations of literary works, a creative meeting with public figure and TV presenter Natalia Moskvitina, and family-oriented exhibitions are also planned.

Forum participants will be able to visit an ethno-cafe and see a theatrical performance dedicated to the family traditions of different peoples. It is prepared by students of Astrakhan State Medical University.
