"Russian Community" of Kolomna and the Guild of Gingerbread Makers and Banner-Bearers of Russia took place on September 13, 2026 at the Holy Cross Church of Kolomna in the Kolomna Kremlin. A family missionary and youth festival was held organized by the Department for Missionary Work and Youth Affairs of the Kolomna Diocese.
During the event, a missionary event was organized on the territory of the Kolomna Kremlin with individual conversations with passers-by. Before the start of the family festival, the chairman of the Department for Missionary Work and Youth Affairs of the Kolomna Diocese, rector of the church, Priest John Bakushkin, addressed the audience.

The calling of the future Primate to episcopal ministry was formally established by a resolution of the Holy Synod in early March 1976; on the eve of the consecration, the rite of nomination took place, and on March 14—on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy—at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Archimandrite Kirill (Gundyaev), rector of the Leningrad theological schools, was consecrated Bishop of Vyborg.
