On November 20, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia turned 79 years old.
On this day, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, during which the head of state warmly congratulated His Holiness on his birthday.
Numerous congratulations to His Holiness have been received from Russian and foreign representatives of government, public organizations, scientists and cultural figures.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill was congratulated, in particular, by President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Serbia A. Vucic, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation M.V. Mishustin, Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V.I. Matvienko, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V.V. Volodin, Mayor of Moscow S.S. Sobyanin and others.

Congratulations are also being received from the Primates of the Local Orthodox Churches, heads of non-Orthodox churches and other religious organizations.
