Traditionally, on the memorial day of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, a prayer service for traveling motorcyclists was held in the church of the village of Bolshye Kharlushi in the Chelyabinsk region. The rector of the Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God, Priest John Karabidovich, blessed the motorcyclists for a safe trip.
At the end of the prayer, the priest handed each motorcyclist a small icon with the image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The small icons of the saint were brought from the Italian city of Bari, where the relics of St. Nicholas are constantly located. Recall that on May 9, Father John led a motorcycle rally through the temples of the Southern Urals.
