A working meeting dedicated to the preparation of the educational seminar "Church Heritage" was held at VDNH in Moscow. The discussion was attended by Metropolitan Nikander of Vladimir and Suzdal, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Department of the Moscow Patriarchate, Antonina Golubeva, Vice-Rector for Educational, Methodological and Scientific Work at FAU RosKapStroy, and Alexander Tarasov, Deputy General Director and Director of the Department of Capital Repairs and Construction at VDNH.
The seminar will be held on November 18, 2026 at Pavilion No. 20 of VDNH EXPO as part of the Arka International Exhibition on Architecture, restoration, culture and archeology. The event is organized by the Center for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage Sites of the FAA "RosKapStroy".
The meeting participants discussed the program of the seminar dedicated to the restoration, restoration and maintenance of church heritage sites. Among the planned topics are the operation and repair of temple buildings, the preservation of church objects, the improvement of adjacent territories and the conduct of economic activities taking into account the requirements of the protection of the archaeological heritage. Special attention will be paid to the preservation of temple ensembles, including historical buildings and structures located on their territory.
The seminar is aimed at specialists responsible for the maintenance and repair of cultural heritage sites for religious purposes, the preservation of temple decorations and the improvement of church territories.
