The children's educational project "Father and Children" is being released on the Spas TV channel

The educational project "Father and Children", aimed at very young children and teenagers, is being released on the Spas TV channel. This is the first children's educational project of this format on the federal channel aimed at an adult audience. The launch of the project is an important step in creating a space for direct dialogue with children on deep spiritual topics.
"Father and Children" is a weekly project in which children talk with priests about God, Orthodoxy and the most important things. Sunday school students from all over Russia ask sincere, sometimes difficult questions, and together with the clergy they discover Christ and the life of the Church.
Four priests are participating in the project — Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov, Archpriest Igor Fomin, Archpriest Vasily Gelevan, and Priest David Bobrov. The conversation with children about God is conducted in a language they understand — vividly, interestingly and without moralizing.
Each program begins with a parable narrated by a priest. Then the children discuss with the priest the content and meaning of the parable and ask their questions.
In addition to a serious conversation, there is a place for a game in the program. In the "ABC of Faith" section, children guess a word through a pantomime, and then select other words with the same letter. The highlight of the game is for the participants to name words only from the Orthodox alphabet.
In the "Crossroads" section, not only children of Orthodox schools join the conversation about God, but also young people on the street: they share their thoughts about who God is and what faith means to them.
Priests explain concepts such as truth and falsehood, good and evil in a simple language accessible to children, help to understand difficult situations of choice, dispel fears and clarify difficult issues.
The host of the first issue will be Father David Bobrov, a young priest from Belarus. For him, the role of the presenter in the program will be his debut.
